For several years Hourvash Pourkian has been

lecturing on various events on the topics of women in business in society and integration.

Amongst other things, she has already been a speaker at Rotary and Lions clubs,

as well as a lecture series at the Munich University of Applied Sciences with a lecture on the topic of "Promoting and using Germany's inner internationality".

At the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, Hourvash Pourkian is a lecturer on the subject of "career with apprenticeship".  

In the Intercultural Women's Business Center Hamburg, Hourvash Pourkian gave a lecture on "Intercultural Business Etiquette of Iran"

Pourkian also gives lectures on various topics at many other women's organizations. In May 2014 she won the Marian Adair Award from the Welcome Club International.

In 2001 she was also part of the competence team of mayoral candidate Ole von Beust. In 2002 she was appointed to the Hamburg Integration Advisory Board and worked there until 2011.
